Press Release: L-Nize & Qwote 'Love Mind Blowing Girls'

PRESS RELEASE

L-NIZE & QWOTE LOVE MIND BLOWING GIRLS

www.hammarica.com EDM News

More bass, More house, More sexy vibes!

After the successful release of his debut single BLOWIN MY MIND feat. QWOTE which had radio airplay on Berlin´s leading radio station Kiss FM Berlin, producer/Dj L-Nize now drops a remix that´s strictly catered to the dancefloor. No one less than UK hit producer BELLATRAX gave the collaboration between L-Nize and vocalist Qwote (signed to Ultra Records) a completely new twist - more bass, more house, more sexy vibes! A big grooving beat that slowly rises the tension becomes the foundation for Qwote's hypnotic vocals. The song has a sexy upbeat house-feel to it and is about the mind blowing girl, turning all the heads in the club. The production was done in Germany whereas Qwote recorded his vocals in Miami; then the record was finally remixed by Bellatrax. A truly international production! Already supported by Stonebridge, Miss Nine and Paul Oakenfold who played it in his world renowned radio show.
www.hammarica.com dance music PRL-Nize“The original version of 'Blowin My Mind' was my debut single. Naturally as an artist you shouldn't expect much from your debut single but I was positively surprised by the reaction of radio to it. Not only was the single played by Berlin´s leading radio station Kiss FM Berlin, even radio stations in the UK and Australia gave it a shot. Now Bellatrax made a fresh remix that´s strictly for the Djs and club goers.”
L-Nize made his first steps in the music industry as a club Dj in the greater Frankfurt (Germany) area. Initially he was spinning R&B and urban sounds, but later on he added house to his style. However, after a certain time, he desired more creative expression and found it a little boring to only play songs from other artists. So he naturally evolved to producing his own music. A first milestone in his producer career was the opportunity to produce a record for New York R&B artist Bo Benton called 'Monster'. Taking it a step further, L-Nize also started writing songs with 'Blowin My Mind' being the latest result.
Besides the creative side, L-Nize also started a boutique record label called Veyron Entertainment to evolve in the music business and to present you the freshest club tracks.

Press Release: Kalm Kaoz

KALM KAOZ
ZIGGY STARDUST” – CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE 5TH KIND

We’re into building bridges, musically and personally

KALM KAOZ and its label, MASSIVE DECKS, announce the release of “ZIGGY STARDUST” from their upcoming EP entitled, K-HOLE.ZIGGY STARDUST”, KALM KAOZ’s remake of David Bowie’s epic track of the same name originally released in 1972. “ZIGGY STARDUST” is a follow-up to KALM KAOZ’s highly regarded “GET HAPPY” remake of the renowned Judy Garland swing-time track. KALM KAOZ’s vision is to build bridges, from old school rock ‘n roll and myriad influences to today’s dance music community. The music video was recorded in the California desert and will be released soon.
Johann of BPM Magazine South Africa was one of the first persons to hear the track and he immediately took to Twitter, tweeting: “@KalmKaoz have send me a secret private @SoundCloud treat - a Ziggy Stardust instrumental they've been working on... loving it."
KALM KAOZ continues its effort to bring more complexity and texture to the electro house genre. They are a juxtaposition to today’s continued simplification of production and music within the genre. The “ZIGGY STARDUST” remake is an epic adventure. The track breaks boundaries and is expansive, bringing layers of detail throughout the track. From unique synthesizer sounds, Brazilian vocal-chops woven into the driving tapestry of the percussions, to the track’s amalgamation of sounds, including deep house and tech house, KALM KAOZ’s “ZIGGY STARDUST” is potent.
www.hammarica.comKALM KAOZ hopes to highlight Bowie’s vision. The original “ZIGGY STARDUST” track was part of the album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” released by Mr. Bowie, representing a grand theatrical presentation. As with KALM KAOZ and it’s “MAYHEM TWINZ”, Ziggy Stardust represented Bowie’s alter-ego, a rock star who acts as a messenger for extraterrestrial beings. Ziggy is the human manifestation of an alien being who is attempting to present humanity with a message of hope. Ziggy Stardust represents the definitive rock star, but with a message, ultimately, of peace and love.
As SlingR from KALM KAOZ said, “We’re into building bridges, musically and personally. There’s so much music out there that people aren’t aware of and we’re all about sharing music.” Motoe Haus of KALM KAOZ followed, “The track evolved over the last month. We revisited the production after our inspiring European pilgrimage. You can hear these influences in “ZIGGY STARDUST”, incorporating deep house and tech vibes into our big room sound."
Hearing the preview of KALM KAOZ’s “ZIGGY STARDUST”, MTV VJ and highly regarded rock ‘n roll historian, Mr. Matt Pinfield, said “KALM KAOZ fuses the power of dance music with the timeless classic Bowie track to bring it to a new level. The KALM KAOZ track introduces a whole new generation to the alchemy of Ziggy, just as Bowie did when he introduced the rock world to electronic and dance with “Low and Young Americans”. Legendary DJ and producer Mr. Mohamed Moretta added “"Kalm Kaoz breathes a breath of fresh air into the cookie cutter sounds of today...one word burns in my head every time I hear Ziggy Stardust... ADVENTUROUS!”
“ZIGGY STARDUST” is being released after KALM KAOZ arrived back from a month in Europe, throwing its first-ever “ELECTRIK KOOL-AID” party in Ibiza with the Pacha Group during Ibiza’s closing season. The closing season party was followed by SlingR’s appearance on the AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT’s radio panel, along with Armin van Buuren, discussing the future of music and and technology.
KALM KAOZ just released an original track on SoundCloud called “WBAJ” for free download (www.soundcloud.com/kalmkaoz)
KALM KAOZ is also working to bring their ELECTRIK KOOL-AID party to clubs and festivals around the world, so stay tuned. KALM KAOZ RADIO is in the works, so let the peace, love, mercy and mischief begin.

Y ahora presentamos en exclusiva 'Ziggy Stardust' de Kalm Kaoz  para que lo conozcáis, combinando house, electro house y rock en esta original pieza.

Press Release: Bassrock 'Here Comes The Boom'

PRESS RELEASE

BASSROCK DROPS BASS A LITTLE TOO HARD IN SKRILLEX’ REMOTE VACATION HOME

The first release by BASSROCK on HAMMARICA was a big success. The blogosphere was on fire, he had a big interview for Tilllate Magazine, the release subsequently entered the Beatport Top 100 Progressive House and DJs like Joachim Garraud, DJ Antoine and Morgan Page all gave their thumbs up.
It also led to no less than 21.000+ plays on Soundcloud for the associated free Bassrock track 'Rock To The Rhythm.' A notable feat for a relatively new artist.
EDM NewsIn the meanwhile, Bassrock did not sit still, and in the midst of all kinds of sonic experiments, he dropped the bass a little too hard when he was at Skrillex' Northwest vacation home. The result -of course- can be seen in the picture above.
Bassrock: "Man, F__K.. He didn't let me wear his glasses. I got a little pissed and then I just dropped the bass harder than I usually do, with devastating effects to the town house."
Long story short: gear up for the second release by BASSROCK on the fresh HAMMARICA label. An incredibly fat Big Room banger. Simple, yet very effective, this will set any EDM floor on fire.

OUT NOW ON BEATPORT

BASSROCK aka Paul Allard has a stage presence like none other. As he mashes up the most cutting edge electro and dirty dutch behind the decks, he shows off his wildest moves to the crowd, hyping up the fans as he elevates the music to the next level. His remix for Troy D's The Night became a hit on the influential HOUSE.NET portal.

Nota de prensa: Zaxx & Tiff Lacey 'Feel Me'

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ZAXX & TIFF LACEY UNLEASH VOCAL SMASH ON SOUTHERN STATE MUSIC

South Africa is a hotbed for emerging talent. One of these talents is Zaxx who together with vocalist queen Tiff Lacey produced the vocal smash 'Feel Me' out on Southern State Music April 15th. Zaxx lives in Johannesburg while Tiff Lacey currently resides just outside of London.

'Feel Me' is the musical definition of ‘less is more’ through the balancing of Zaxx’s musical production with the simplistic nature of Tiff Lacey’s vocals.
Having entered the Beatport Top 100 within the first 24 hours of its release, as well as garnering early support from Giuseppe OttavianiShane HalconAndrew Rayel, and MaRLo, 'Feel Me' will spotlight the skills of Zaxx and Tiff Lacey for a long time to come.
Zaxx is no stranger to the stage or to the music, having performed all across his native South Africa alongside top artists such as Markus SchulzAly Fila and Cosmic GateZaxx has also secured a highly coveted residency spot at Southern Africa’s solely dedicated Trance and Progressive nightclub ‘Truth’.
Zaxx: I wanted to capture the essence of the South African trance and progressive scene in one track. While creating it I thought about the past gigs I’ve played, both in big arenas and in small venues. The spirit of South African dance music is alive, although somewhat contained, so I thought why not make a track that can extend beyond our borders and show that spirit to the DJs and the dance floors of the world.”
Tiff Lacey and her highly intuitive vocal ability knows no borders, having collaborated with major names from all over the world such as Paul OakenfoldAly & FilaATB, and Teneshia.
Tiff Lacey: When Zaxx contacted me about his production he spoke of the essence of the scene, and having worked with South African artists in the past, I knew right away exactly where he wanted to take it. South Africa is a unique country. It’s a country that is reaching out globally. It has scene that knows it is alive but also wants the world to know the same. You can get a sense of that with the simple lyrics I wrote for the track. They represent self-confidence yet are wrapped in a veil of mystery.”

Entrevista a DJ JOOP // Interview to DJ JOOP

We knew u thanks to the radio show ASOT, what did u feel listening ur tune on this radio show? We expect that if someone like Armin van Buuren took one of ur tunes for his radio show, that had to be a real honour. Tell us something more about that...

First of all thank you for having me! I’ve been around now for many years and released a lot of tracks. The only time I had support from Armin was when I had the official Trance Energy anthem of 2007, JOOP – The Future. I think it has to do with the fact I’m slightly different in the music I make. It’s always nice that fellow Dj’s support your tune! Because that is what I’m doing it for!

According to U, what are your main contributions in the studio?

I’m not your Mozart or BachJ I think my strongest points are doing arrangements and putting a lot of atmosphere in tracks by using various samples that I collected troughout the years. Most of the die hard edm fans will know that it’s my track even if they hear it for the first time, a digital signature I think. Also I obtained quite a bit of knowledge over the last few years how a track should sound. I think I always had an ear for if something was freaking good or kind of good.

If we didn't know U, how do U define your style music?

Energetic, Atmosphere, Big, Music for the masses!

If U could collaborate or make a tune with any singer/deejay/music band, which one would be the chosen one?

I would go definitely for the band in this case! I love various styles of music, I always did. I grew up with having music surrounding me almost 24/7. It’s a dream, but I would love to do something with Metallica !! some will say now WTF? But I see the potential for sure, I played that S&M dvd of them so often, the one were they perform with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. The power and the emotion on that stage is almost indescribable. Even though it’s heavy rock, but the breakdowns in the songs getting real close to the emotion what we do in the edm scene. So yeah I will dream on for now!;)!

What do U think about the health of current dance music?

In my opinion the last few years dance music is stronger than ever production wise! Not all of it of course but most of the tunes are very well produced sound wise. The standard is raised quite high nowadays. Also this brings new artists to the surface which is very good! I am a real big supporter of new blood. They have the future and can bring the edm scene many years of fame and fortune. Because when I am an old man I probably still listen to electronic music!

Are the social networks useful in your career? Do U use them often?

People that know me well and read this will laugh their asses off right nowJ I never paid any attention to this social media stuff and other communication till 2 years ago. I saw my music buddy’s often were more busy on their msn, facebook, checking their emails and twitter then we were actually producing. I really hated it for a long time! I am probably also the worst guy in the world checking his emails. But now I see that the world has changed, everything goes really fast and from all places of the world news or facts are coming in on your screen at home or on your phone while travelling and before you know it, it’s old news while it’s not even on there for 30 min. So you see the “clever” guys that really know how to handle this whole social media thing gaining massive visualbility and attention on a global scale. Their reach they create is not from this world! 10 years ago this was unthinkable! So yes I see the benefits now and still I have to be more active than I am now, but I’m getting there. I try to write nice stories about what happens in a week in JOOP world or just some super cool facts on releases etc on my www.facebook.com/joopofficial . Of course also I let the world know about my “whereabouts” or other cool things and stay in contact with my dear followers! I think that is very important, without them I would have empty venues! www.twitter.com/djjoop . On www.soundcloud.com/joop/tracks I keep you updated on previews and my podcast JOOP pres. FOCUS RADIO. So yep! I do understand why this social network is a really important thing. Now I use it a lot! More than I ever did.

Will we see JOOP mixing in Spain?

For now I got nothing lined up in Spain, but you never know right?!

Can U give us your djs top 5?

The following dj’s/producers are picked on their producing skills and on their performance behind the decks as well.

Sven Väth

Carl Cox

Steve Aoki

Leon Bolier

Ferry Corsten

What do U listen in your free time?

This is a very wide range of artists, I can enjoy playing a cd from Metallica while driving or have an very dark progressive mix pounding trough the speakers.

Anything else U want tell us...

Yes! If you really like what I do you can always place your vote for me on the dj-mag top 100 on www.votejoop.com Thank you!

Again, thanks you so much for ur time and for this interview and thanks to Wilf for setting it up. Thanks and good lucEnlacek!

Thanks guys!
